Wysila ("we", "us", or "our") operates the Wysila mobile application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect your personal information when you use our App.

1.1 Information You Provide
- Account Information: Name, email address, and profile photo when you create an account (via email, Google, or Apple Sign-In).
- Preferences: Language preference, theme settings, notification preferences, and content interests you select during onboarding.
- User-Generated Content: Notes, collections, and saved items you create within the App.
1.2 Information Collected Automatically
- Usage Data: Reading progress, study completion status, content interactions, and engagement metrics.
- Device Information: Device model, operating system version, and app version (collected for crash reporting).
- Analytics Events: Anonymized usage patterns to improve the App experience.
2. How We Use Your Information
- Provide and maintain the App's features (content delivery, reading progress, personalization).
- Process and manage your subscription.
- Send notifications you have opted into (daily insights, streak reminders, new content).
- Diagnose and fix technical issues via crash reporting.
- Improve the App based on aggregated, anonymized usage patterns.
3. Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services to operate the App:

4. Data Retention
- Active accounts: Your data is retained for as long as your account is active.
- Account deletion: When you request account deletion, your account enters a 30-day grace period. After 30 days, all personal data is permanently deleted from our systems.
- Crash reports: Crash data is retained for 90 days for diagnostic purposes.
- Analytics: Aggregated, anonymized analytics data may be retained indefinitely.
5. Your Rights
In accordance with LGPD (Lei Geral de Protecao de Dados) and GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation), you have the right to:
- Access: Request a copy of all personal data we hold about you (available via "Export My Data" in Settings).
- Rectification: Update or correct your personal information through your profile settings.
- Deletion: Request permanent deletion of your account and all associated data (available via "Delete Account" in Settings).
- Portability: Export your data in a machine-readable format (JSON).
- Objection: Opt out of non-essential data processing by adjusting your notification and analytics preferences.
6. Data Security
We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data, including:
- Encrypted data transmission (HTTPS/TLS).
- Row-level security (RLS) policies in our database ensuring users can only access their own data.
- Secure authentication via OAuth 2.0 (Google, Apple) and email/password with bcrypt hashing.
- Secure token storage on your device.
7. Children's Privacy
The App is not intended for children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we become aware that we have collected data from a child under 13, we will delete it promptly.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via the App or email. Your continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
